The information contained within this website does not give you any contractual or other legally enforceable rights or any right to compensation or other benefits, and is not a substitute for the relevant Plan Rules. If there is any inconsistency between the Plan Rules and the information contained within this website, then the Plan Rules will take precedence. Copies of the Plan Rules are available from Group Reward.
No person will have any right to compensation for any loss in relation to the information contained within this website. No person will have any claim or right of action in respect of any omission or inaccuracy within this website which may be to the disadvantage of that person.
Participation in a BAT employee share plan of itself does not create any right to, or expectation of, employment and/or continued employment.
Participation in any of the schemes referred to within this website, including the Performance Share Plan (also known as the Long Term Incentive Plan), Restricted Share Plan, Deferred Share Bonus Scheme and International Share Reward Scheme, is at the absolute discretion of BAT. Participation in the Sharesave, Share Reward and Partnership Share Schemes is subject to relevant UK legislation. Nothing in the rules or operation of the plans forms part of the contract of employment of any employee.
Participation in a BAT employee share plan in any year does not indicate that you will participate in, or be considered for participation in, that plan or any other plan in the future, even if you have previously participated over a long period of time and / or awards have previously been repeatedly granted.
BAT reserves the right to amend the operation of any of its employee share plans or withdraw any or all of them entirely, at its absolute discretion.
Tax information contained on these pages is generic in nature, and does not take account of individual circumstances or constitute tax advice.
As with any investment, the value of shares can go down as well as up. Nothing on these pages constitutes investment advice.
If you require advice about your participation in any BAT employee share plan, you should consult an independent and authorised financial and/or tax adviser.
